I'm not a glamour girl.
I don't wear designer jeans.
I won't fit the perfect cutout-
No pageants for me.
I don't try to be sexy.
I don't know what that means.
I wear white cotton panties-
And that's me.
I won't be what I can't be;
Won't be the object of your dreams.
No tucks or lifts or implants-
No silicone for me.
I'll never be a plastic doll.
I'm dressed in thoughts and themes.
I'm not a molded duplicate.
I refuse to be.
My soul resides beneath my skin.
I hold no crowns for beauty queens.
I'm a vixen in white cotton,
That's what I choose to be.
I'm more than a pretty place
To color shades of green.
I'm not perfect, and I won't pretend.
No façade for me.
I don't look like a mannequin.
I don't look like a magazine.
I'll never feel like less of a woman
As long I'm more of me.

I am so with you on this one! You don't even know! The structure is really good- and it flows great. I really hope you submit this to your school paper cuz it's gotta get in there! This is the best feminist poem I've ever read. It's awesome! It's a fav!
